a woman Thursday will be arraigned this afternoon in Marin County Superior
Court.

Police said Amos was posing as a book salesman when he went
to an apartment in the 1500 block of
Amos and the 21-year-old woman struggled and Amos fled when

A traveling magazine salesman accused of sexually assaulting
a
Renard Amos, 19, was arraigned in
Marin Superior Court on Tuesday on charges of assault with intent to commit
rape during a burglary, residential burglary, false imprisonment, sexual
battery by restraint and assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury,
said Deputy District Attorney Linda Witong.
Amos could face seven years to life in prison if convicted, Witong said. A plea hearing is pending.
